CBD-infused products have become a larger part of the medical cannabis landscape, and the U.S. Hemp Authority recently recognized 13 companies who have set exemplary standards in the field of research and development. By assigning seals of approval, the U.S. Hemp Authority has publicly identified some of the companies on the cutting edge in this rapidly growing business space. CBD oils can be found in edible medications, as well as topical applications.

The following is a re-post of an article written by Beth Kaiserman for Forbes

The U.S. Hemp Authority awarded 13 CBD companies with a high-quality seal earlier this month.

The following companies received the seal:

  • CV Sciences, San Diego, CA
  • HempMeds, San Diego, CA
  • Medterra CBD, Irvine, CA
  • Balanced Health Botanicals, Louisville, CO

“Consumers need to be able to tell who the good guys are — who’s doing their best to make sure the product is safe,” Marielle Weintraub, PhD, president of the U.S. Hemp Authority, said.

The U.S. Hemp Authority awarded 13 companies with a high-quality seal and will advise them on how to use it.

The U.S. Hemp Authority will further advise brands on using the seal on product packaging and marketing materials.
